Flapless Implant Surgery on Upper Posterior

This case involved a 60-year old male who had a tooth on the upper posterior extracted due to an endo lesion 2 years prior. The surgeon opted to do flapless implant surgery and this short video demonstrates the exact procedure, along with a few key tips. Flapless surgery has several benefits, but it is important that key conditions be present to ensure success, as shown in the video. Notably, both bone quality and the presence of sufficient attached gingiva are very important criteria for successful flapless surgery.  Also, flapless requires that you measure how deep you go from the soft tissue, with the clinician in this video preferring 5mm.
