Two Porcelain fused to metal crowns (splinted) were used to finish the case. Case was followed 8 months after completing the treatment without complications so far. Further monitoring is in progress. Check-ins for oral hygiene are scheduled every 3-4 months

I am afraid patient will come up with thread exposure down the line due to thin buccal plate, hope he doesn’t have high smile line.

    No gloves ?

Dear Fabe. the fingers are patients own fingers. In this case we ran out of cheek retractors, foolish detail. I don`t think the threads will end up exposed. The post-op period and the one after the restoration is without complications. Gum level is stable too.

Nice job. Probably a stupid question but what do you mean by the Cap in impression technique?

As a patient, I would cry if the work done above were done in my mouth. Two front teeth dont compliment the other teeth- they look sawed off. As a 5 day post-op Bone graft, PRP, and implant patient(on tooth #9)with a very high lipline, I am afraid of the telltale ‘gray gum’ that is evident in this case. Other than take a zirconium abutment, is there anything that can be done to avoid the dreaded ‘gray gum’?
    Thank you.
P.S. We patients need more post op info on what to expect and what the ‘normal’ healing process looks like, because I am scaring myself to death trying to find post op pictures on my own.

nice work but don’t u think that the crowns are a little overcontoured gingivally. this will result in gingival inflammation and recession pretty soon.

Dr Salash, actually the case is already 2,5 years old with same peri implant bone level and no signs of peri implant resorption. I think gingival thick biotype helped a lot as well as the almost 1,5-2 mm of vestibular bone around both implants.
    Thanks for the comment
