I have a patient who would like dental implants to replace his lower teeth. Existing bone is ideal in length and width. Remaining teeth are hopeless. Lower impacted third molar will be left alone. He is interested in a fixed restoration. He does not want to become completely edentulous at any time. I am interested in hearing your treatment planning options for this patient. I am considering placement of all posterior implants (likely 3 on each side) and possibly imediates to replace the lower cuspids at the same time. After a period of healing (4 months) I would extract the remaining teeth, place remaining needed implants and deliver a provisional bridge. After another 4 months, the definitive prosthesis would be made. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance, Craig
